Thanks for taking the time to comment. The article is factual, and I use narrative techniques that were the staple of New Journalism that Truman Capote, Tom Wolfe and other great American writers used to bring American journalism to world prominence, not to mention Nobel laureates like Garcia Marquez. Not that I am comparing myself to these writers. In a conversation I had with Garcia Marquez, he said, humanizing facts brought us closer to reality. But you are entitled to you opinion. You assumption that my style disinterests readers, however, might be contradicted by the number of people who read this article—way above average. Also, and more important, many readers have indicated how the article made the dangers inherent in not being aware of their surroundings very real. Speaking of facts, my name is Raul not Paul.
